Interesting Fact
An interesting fact about the Ides of March is that it wasn’t originally a bad omen! 🤯 In ancient Rome, the Ides of March (March 15th) was actually a day of celebration dedicated to Mars, the Roman god of war. It wasn’t until Julius Caesar’s assassination in 44 BCE that the day became infamous. Thanks to Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and the ominous warning “Beware the Ides of March,” it’s now forever linked with betrayal and doom—but originally, it was a day of excitement and power! ⚔️🏛️
